A Sunder is an atmospheric rendition of the impact of memory and environment. As a live performance piece it involves acoustic and electronic instruments, live digital manipulations, spoken and sung voice and environmental sampling.

We gathered material from journeys we made to isolated places (specifically the Lancastrian tidal island of Sunderland Point), childhood memories and urban art installations (specifically Conrad Shawcross' 'Steady States' at The Walker and 'Inverting The Map' at Tate Liverpool). ASunder alchemises these physical, emotional and imaginative processes into electro-organic soundscapes that are intimate, honest, mesmerising and incandescent.
